In an increasingly saturated market environment, with easily substitutable products and strong competition, the statement “Every Business is a Service Business” is gaining importance. In addition, the tertiary sector – especially trade – is largely responsible for employment and prosperity in Austria. In this context, the department is devoted to classic questions regarding e.g. shop design, service quality or choice of location also include current topics in e-commerce or augmented reality.
