Module 3: Impact Measurement and Financing

At the beginning of the module there is an exciting impulse from renowned people from science and practice, before the participants split up into the break-out sessions depending on their area of interest. After the break-out session, all participants can make new contacts as part of speed networking and find their match for future corporate cooperation.

For for-profit companies:

Impact measurement tools as a success factor for successful cooperation?

The third module examines the question of what actually makes a successful cooperation. The participants get to know tools for success evaluation in the relevant areas of cooperation and reflect on them critically. These include tools for strategy development in the areas of business modeling and planning, as well as measuring social and environmental impacts. This module explores what success means in connection with corporate partnerships and whether successful corporate collaborations can be scaled.

For social entrepreneurs / social start-ups / NGOs:

Financing and impact measurement tools as success factors

Questions about financing and fundraising are part of everyday life for many social and impact entrepreneurs, especially when building their products and services. However, we know from experience that even established organizations that have existed for a long time are repeatedly confronted with the issue of fundraising.

In the third module, various forms of financing are presented in an overview, before the question of whether the scaling of social and ecological effects using impact measurement tools can represent a success factor. The advantages and disadvantages of success measurement instruments should be discussed in order to be able to decide in individual cases whether sustainability reports, impact reports, etc. can be suitable tools to communicate the performance of the organization to the outside world so that partners and stakeholders can be reached.
