Unsere externen Dozent_innen – Introducing: Hussain MA, MBA

–HussainHow would I describe myself?

Advertising creative , globe trotter, overly enthusiastic cook and an avid motorsports fan

–Where do I come from?

I am originally from the city of Lahore, Pakistan and have recently relocated to Salzburg where I work as a freelance creative and a language trainer. For a good part of the last decade I have been working as an advertising creative for some of the leading advertising agencies in the United Kingdom, UAE, Pakistan and East Africa.

–What is my teaching approach?

When it comes to sharing or learning new concepts, I prefer and adopt a very hands-on approach and would like to impart the best of my experiences to the course participants in the same manner. The ‘Social Media Marketing’ course is designed to enable participants firstly understand and then apply the creative process to generate marketing & communication strategies which they can execute across a variety of social media platforms. With new social media platforms emerging every day, the catch is not to get fixated with a platform but develop the ability to execute ideas across platforms that fit the bill. Additionally, the course has a healthy mix of in-class sessions with regular lab and One on One sessions. The lab sessions are devised to introduce course participants to some of the tools and software that include audio/visual software and equipment whereas the One-on-One sessions are meant for project work coordination.

How do I want to contribute to the development of the Marketing & Relationship Management department?

Brand strategy, lateral thinking, how to generate ideas, copy writing, art directing, how to execute and sell ideas are some my areas of interest that I would further like to be involved with as a visiting lecturer at the FH Salzburg.[:en]
